Job summary

Western Union is seeking an Own Store Support Specialist to provide technical support for company-owned retail locations worldwide. You will ensure continuous operation of store technology and deliver excellent service to store employees and business partners.

Reporting to the Global Own Store Support Manager, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and operational technology issues, coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors, and assist in store openings and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years IT related experience.
• Fluency in English – verbal and written.
• Knowledge of end user hardware and software solutions, Microsoft and Apple products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for company-owned retail store technologies worldwide, including hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents according to SLAs.
• Manage incidents and service requests in the IT service management platform.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to resolve complex issues.
• Escalate critical incidents and assist in restoring services affecting store operations.
• Support store openings, relocations, upgrades, and new technology deployments.
• Maintain asset inventory records and assist with equipment ordering and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors to coordinate repairs and support.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
