Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology seeks an IT Support Specialist to assist local and global users with hardware, software, and network issues. You will troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices while ensuring secure access and responsive service.

You will document procedures, train users, and coordinate with vendors. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Organized and meticulous with strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, Server OS.
• Experience in desktop/laptop hardware and supporting networked printers and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Providing Technical Support: Help local and global users with hardware, software, networks, and IT systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems using tools and root-cause analysis.
• Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Software Installation and Configuration: Install and update operating systems, software, and drivers.
• User Account Management: Create/modify/deactivate user accounts with security in mind.
• Network Support: Assist in setting up and maintaining LANs/WANs and related infrastructure.
• Other Systems: Manage door access, CCTV, clocking systems.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation and share knowledge with users.
• Training and User Education: Conduct training on IT best practices, tools, and security.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with IT vendors for procurement and maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on trends and propose improvements.
• Incident Management: Prioritize and resolve IT service tickets with stakeholders.
• Adherence to Policies and Standards: Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies.
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent service and exceed user expectations.
