Job summary

Hysses Singapore is seeking a Retail Operations Manager/ Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of all retail outlets. You will manage staff, inventory, and sales performance, implement policies, and drive customer service standards to meet company objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to analyse sales data, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of managerial retail experience.
• Bachelors in Business Administration or Retail Management.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and retail software.
• Ability to analyze sales data and trends.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all retail outlets to ensure consistent performance and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor store performance metrics, including sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure stores comply with company standards, including cleanliness, merchandising, and safety.
• Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and staff; set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
• Manage staff schedules to optimize coverage and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with purchasing and marketing to align stock with sales trends and promotions.
• Provide regular reports on store performance to senior management and implement corrective actions.
