About the Role

Based in Singapore, the Retail (Sales & Operations) Management Trainee will play a crucial role in our retail operations across Southeast Asia, with a focus on Malaysia/Philiphines or Thailand/Vietnam market. This role is designed for recent graduates looking to launch their careers in retail management, event planning, and customer service. The successful candidate will preferably be fluent in Malay or Thai, or if not, other Southeast Asian languages (e.g. Indonesian, Tagalog) and have a strong foundation in business principles.

Responsibilities

Event Operations

• Assist in developing and executing event plans for in-store promotions and product launches.
• Support coordination with marketing and sales teams to align events with company objectives.
• Participate in managing event logistics, including vendor coordination and budget management.
• Contribute to analyzing event outcomes and providing recommendations for future improvements.

Retail Store Inspections

• Support in conducting regular store inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in evaluating store performance metrics and providing feedback to store managers.

Training and Development

• Participate in designing and implementing training programs for retail staff.
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide input for continuous improvement.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a library of training materials and resources.

Sales and Performance

• Support in setting and achieving sales targets for assigned stores.

Required Skills
