Job summary

A leading retail company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced retail manager to drive sales, develop team talent, and ensure operations compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of retail experience, including 2+ years in a managerial position, with a strong passion for customer service. This role requires an analytical mindset and a commitment to achieving KPIs and fostering a culture of teamwork within the boutique environment.

  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals.

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop luxury sales talent.
  • Ensure SOP compliance, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
  • Stay updated on retail trends, competitor activities, and client expectations.
Job description

Working Hours: Retail hours, 2 days off per week

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Performance
  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals
  • Analyse sales reports, monitor performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • Drive initiatives to build long-term customer relationships
Client Experience & Brand Representation
  • Lead by example in delivering personalised luxury service
  • Maintain a boutique environment reflecting brand heritage and image
  • Handle client issues with professionalism and discretion
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop luxury sales talent
  • Provide coaching, product knowledge training, and performance feedback
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
  • Manage workforce planning and sales floor assignments
Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure SOP compliance, inventory management, and cash handling procedures
  • Oversee stock levels, loss prevention, and visual merchandising standards
  • Manage boutique admin, reporting, expenses, and audits
    Market & Competitor Awareness
    • Stay updated on retail trends, competitor activities, and client expectations
    • Support localised marketing or client activation events as needed
    Requirements
