Job summary

Somma restaurant pte. ltd., part of The Lo and Behold Group, is seeking a General Manager to shape daily operations and guest experiences across its venues. You will lead staff, design service protocols, and partner with Marketing on promotions to boost sales and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, SOP development, and proactive management of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance to ensure consistently outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/F&B supervisory experience with at least 2 years.
• Meticulous and well-organised.
• Strong communication and service quality mindset.
• Passionate about delivering high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and achieve targets.
• Manage staff, schedules, and duties.
• Develop and implement SOPs for service and food preparation.
• Oversee venue equipment and facilities management / maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections on cleanliness and maintenance; take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety and food safety norms.
• Plan and manage activities with Marketing on promotions and events.
• Review sales mix, inventory and performance data to drive improvements.
• Analyse POS reports and sales trends; implement cost controls.
• Conceptualise staff development plans and training strategies.
• Staffing: interview, hire and train new employees; set expectations.
• Lead the team to meet goals and uphold company policies.
