Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced architectural professional to supervise major building works on site. You will lead architectural staff, monitor construction progress, and ensure adherence to statutory regulations and project specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, quick-thinking problem solving, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams on site.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in architecture with at least five years supervising complex works.
• Experience in roof C façades, architectural systems or interior fit-out is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CLIENT, QP(S) and project consultants.
• Ensure compliance with statutory codes and site supervision requirements.
• Prepare and review progress reports and documentation.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as an architecture professional, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in complexity, in particular, architectural and fitting out works in major building construction. Preferably with a focus experience in either Roof C Façade systems, Architectural systems or Interior Architecture Fit out works.
• b. Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects.
• c. Lead architectural site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CLIENT, QP(S) and/orthe project consultants and FUI owners. He must possess good leadershipqualities, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• d. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
• e. Possess strong supervision and leadership skills.
• f. Possess strong technical knowledge and quick-thinking skills with a strong ability to manage and resolve on site issues.
• g. Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communications skills.
