Job summary

Bureau Veritas Buildings & Infrastructure Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced architect to lead on-site supervision of architectural and fit-out works in major building projects in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role requires extensive site supervision experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to resolve on-site challenges and deliver

Responsibilities

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with client, QP(S), consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site-related architectural issues.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with regulations and quality control procedures.
• Review architectural works including roof & façade systems and interior fit-out works.
• Prepare and submit site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges to ensure smooth project execution.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural site staff in monitoring, inspecting, and overseeing architectural and fit-out works.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with client, QP(S), consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site-related architectural issues.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and quality control procedures.
• Review architectural works, including roof & façade systems, architectural systems, and interior fit-out works.
• Prepare and submit site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges to ensure smooth project execution.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architecture recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience, including at least 5 years in site supervision of projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Experience in major building construction projects, particularly architectural and fit-out works.
• Preferably experienced in Roof & Façade Systems, Architectural Systems, or Interior Architecture Fit-out Works.
• Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, site supervision practices, quality control procedures, and construction administration.
• Proven leadership experience in managing architectural site supervision teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve on-site issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
