Job summary

GRC Construction Pte. Ltd. on site in Singapore seeks a seasoned professional to lead site supervision for architectural works, ensuring finishes, facades, partitions and ceilings meet design intent and specifications on our Singapore project.

The role requires strong coordination with architects, design consultants, structural and MEP teams, and subcontractors, plus rigorous quality control, drawing review, progress tracking, and safety compliance to uphold project standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in end to end project management.
• Understand the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day architectural works (finishes, facades, partitions, ceilings, etc.).
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Check workmanship and materials used on-site.
• Coordinate with Architects and design consultants, structural and MEP teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements; ensure latest revisions are implemented.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports; track progress and report delays.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

• Monitor day-to-day architectural works (finishes, facades, partitions, ceilings, etc.)

• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications

• Check workmanship and materials used on-site

2. Quality Control

• Inspect ongoing and completed works to ensure quality standards are met

• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken

• Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections

3. Coordination

• Coordinate with:

  • Architects and design consultants

  • Structural and MEP teams

  • Contractors and subcontractors

• Resolve site-related design and execution issues

4. Drawing & Documentation Review

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements

• Ensure latest revisions are implemented on-site

• Maintain proper documentation and reports

5. Progress Monitoring

• Track work progress against project schedule

• Report delays or issues affecting timelines

• Assist in planning and sequencing of works

6. Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure works comply with safety regulations and site policies

• Coordinate with safety officers to maintain safe working conditions
