Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Architectural professional to lead major construction projects, ensuring design integrity and compliance with safety standards.

You will oversee contract administration under PSSCOC, direct the project team, and manage QSS manpower while maintaining welfare. Strong knowledge of Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements and related updates is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of relevant architectural experience, including 15 years on large, complex projects.
• Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects and current registration.
• Currently employed with the contractor for at least 5 years.
• Proficient in contract administration under PSSCOC.
• Ability to lead and manage the project team to meet objectives and safety standards.
• Oversee QSS manpower deployment and welfare.
• Familiarity with Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements and related airport safety updates.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 20 yearsof relevant experience as an architectural professional, of which at least 15years on projects similar in size and complexity; in particular, architecturalworks in major construction works in buildings, tunnelsand deep excavation.
• Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects and is currently registered withthe Board of Architects.
• In current employment under the Contractor for a minimum of 5 years.
• Proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
• Provide overall team direction and management to realize the project objectives and activities as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highestprofessional technical and safety standards.
• Oversee and administer the QSS manpower deployment based on the work schedules of the main contractors and ensure the welfare of the personnel are well taken care of.
• Conversant with all procedures in the Aerodrome Manual, "Airside works Procedures Manual", Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements", and Workplace Safety C Health Manual. To make conscious effort to be constantly updatedon any subsequent revisions to the above-mentioned manuals, procedures and all applicable airport circulars.
