Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior construction professional with extensive experience on large-scale building projects to lead coordination and delivery.

The candidate will review technical drawings, manage data from CDE/EDMS/Primavera P6, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to resolve coordination risks while driving successful handover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction for large-scale building projects.
• Ability to synthesize data from CDE/EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify coordination risks.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and presentation skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Capable of independent work, yet a strong team player in fast-paced projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data-driven dashboards (Power BI) for executive presentations.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in construction for large scale building project.
• b. Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects
• b. Successfully completed at least two projects at the construction and handover stages.
• c. Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical skills as well as able to synthesize data from Common Data Environment /EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify project coordination risks.
• d. Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• e. Proficient in navigating BIM models and approved Electronic Document Management System (EDMS such as Bentley ProjectWise) to review technical drawings, specifications, RFI/RFA (Request for Information/Approval) and other project related statuses.
• f. Able to work independently, a strong team player and capable of handling fast-paced projects.
• g. Good interpersonal, writtenand verbal communication skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
• h. Strong negotiation, conflict management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with CLIENT, and other stakeholders.
• i. Advanced knowledge of MicrosoftOffice, with the ability to interpret data-driven dashboards (Power BI) and to prepare executive-level presentations
