Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced practitioner with 15+ years in large-scale construction and an architectural degree recognised by the Board of Architects.

You will interpret drawings, review BIM/EDMS data, and coordinate handover milestones across multiple stakeholders, delivering high-quality project outcomes. The role requires strong analytical and presentation skills, proficient use of Power BI for dashboards, and the ability to lead coordination efforts in

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in construction for large scale building projects.
• Architectural degree recognised by the Board of Architects.
• Completed at least three projects at construction and handover stages.
• Ability to synthesize data from Common Data Environment/EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify project risks.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Proficient in BIM models and EDMS (Bentley ProjectWise) for reviewing drawings and statuses.
• Able to work independently and in teams on fast-paced projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and data-driven dashboards.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in construction for large scale building project.
• b. Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects .
• c. Successfully completed at least three projects at the construction and handover stages.
• d. Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical skills as well as able to synthesize data from Common Data Environment /EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify project coordination risks.
• e. Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• f. Proficient in navigating BIM models and approved Electronic Document Management System (EDMS such as Bentley ProjectWise) to review technical drawings, specifications, RFI/RFA (Request for Information/Approval) and other project related statuses.
• g. Able to work independently, a strong team player and capable to handle fast paced projects.
• h. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
• i. Strong negotiation, conflict management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with CLIENT, and other stakeholders.
• j. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office,with the abilityto interpret data-driven dashboards (Power BI) and to prepare executive-level presentations.
