We are looking for a talented and responsible Research Associate to support the scientific research and the engineering practice in perception and embodied intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

The Research Associate will work on a project to conduct research on online reinforcement learning for robot manipulation used in household service and manufacturing. The roles of this position include:

• Develop roboticभूमfoundation models for general manipulation based on vision-language-action models
• Develop reinforcement learning framework for Vision-language-action models
• Develop real-robot reinforcement learning framework with safety constraints
• Develop a mobile bimanual manipulation system to complete diverse tasks in household environment and in manufacturing deployment scenarios

Job Requirements

• Master in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 1-year research experience in related area
• Expertise in robotic manipulation systems
• Knowledge in robotic foundation models
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as ROS and Python
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal – able to communicate complex concepts clearly and accurately
