Job summary

Ethos is seeking environmental compliance specialists to help train our latest language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows. This remote, flexible role offers 5–20 hours per week and compensation of $90/hour.

You'll bring 4+ years in ecological research, environmental consulting, or applied biology to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, reports and data sheets for regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting environmental impact assessments, ecological surveys, or regulatory compliance monitoring.
• Direct experience interpreting field and lab data and translating it into technical reports.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows (EIA reports, habitat summaries, water/soil data).
• Interpret field/lab data (species counts, chemistry, emissions) for regulators or clients; ensure accuracy and clarity in deliverables.
• Contribute to training data and language model outputs with high-quality, reproducible reports and templates.
