Job summary

Genetec Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to support ASEAN markets from Singapore. The role leads technical discovery, solution design, demos, workshops, and proofs-of-concept across the sales cycle. Travel to regional customer meetings and events is expected as needed.

The candidate should have 5+ years in pre-sales or related roles, with strong business judgment, clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences, and experience with enterprise networking and systems integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering/IT
• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, systems integration or similar
• Ability to lead technical discovery and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with enterprise networking, server infrastructure, cloud/hybrid concepts, and systems integration

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with end users, channel partners, and consultants
• Translate requirements into architectures, sizing, BOMs, and technical proposals
• Plan and deliver tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and POCs
• Support RFP/RFI/tender responses with accurate technical information
• Validate technical fit and document assumptions with regional sales teams
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for complex designs and deployments
• Review designs with channel partners and system integrators to strengthen positioning
• Build trusted technical relationships with customers and partners to identify expansion opportunities
