Job summary

TSTAR Recruit is assisting in the recruitment of a Project Sales Engineer for an established MNC in Singapore. The role focuses on training to become an engineering specialist, building relationships with multinational clients and government agencies, and working with regional sales engineers to deliver technical solutions.

The position emphasizes developing sales and business development capabilities with strong CAD reading and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 2+ years project management experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings and CAD drafting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in sales/business development.

Responsibilities

• Undergo comprehensive training to develop expertise as an engineering specialist in a high-demand industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients including MNCs, government agencies and consulting firms.
• Collaborate with sales engineers across Asia to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Identify and develop new product markets in Singapore and the region.
• Provide technical support and engineering solutions throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Support business development by combining technical knowledge with customer requirements.
