Job summary

TSTAR Recruit is assisting in the recruitment of a Project Sales Engineer for an established MNC in Singapore. The role focuses on training to become an engineering specialist, building relationships with multinational clients and government agencies, and working with regional sales engineers to deliver technical solutions.

The position emphasizes developing sales and business development capabilities with strong CAD reading and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 2+ years project management experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings and CAD drafting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in sales/business development.

Responsibilities

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Project Sales Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Undergo comprehensive training to develop expertise as an engineering specialist within a highly sought-after industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including multinational corporations, government agencies, and engineering consulting firms.
• Work closely with experienced sales engineers across Asia to understand customer needs, deliver technical solutions, and support business growth.
• Identify and develop new product markets in Singapore and across the region.
• Provide technical support and engineering solutions to customers throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Support business development activities by combining technical knowledge with an understanding of customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of project management experience is preferred.
• Training is provided.
• Proficient in CAD drafting and able to read and interpret engineering drawings, such as AutoCAD drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an interest in developing sales and business development capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Able to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,000 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
