Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Singapore is seeking a Reception Manager to lead daily Front Desk operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and memorable guest experiences.

You will supervise the Front Office team, coordinate VIP arrivals, manage room allocations, and drive continuous improvements while aligning with hotel standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Rooms and Front Desk operations in hotel or resort environment.
• Experience using OPMS and related hotel front office systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily Front Desk operations to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.
• Drive guest experience improvements by monitoring arrivals, departures, room allocations, and VIP arrangements to ensure seamless guest journeys.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate the Front Office team to maintain high performance and up-to-date knowledge of hotel products and services.
• Communicate operational updates and hotel offerings effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure consistent and excellent service delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Demonstrated understanding of Rooms and Front Desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
• Experience using OPMS and related hotel front office systems to manage guest services and operations
• Educational background related to hotel management
• Experience in managing emergency response and crisis management situations
