Job summary

A leading services provider in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to analyze tender documents, prepare cost estimates, and liaise with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience. This position requires strong coordination skills and knowledge of ACMV systems. Competitive salary range of SGD 3500 - 3800 offered.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (ID3504)
Location: Ubi
Working Hour: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm, Sat 8:30am to 12:30pm
Salary: $3500 - $3800

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze tender documents and prepare BQ and cost estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
  • Prepare design proposals, pricing breakdowns, and documentation for submission.
  • Handle procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and the main contractor for approvals and deliveries.
  • Track submissions, responses, and material approval processes.
  • Prepare shop, as-built, schematic, and detail drawings for ACMV systems.
  • Revise drawings based on consultant and site feedback.
  • Prepare test reports, operation & maintenance manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Visit sites when necessary for coordination and installation updates.
  • Submit variation orders and progress claims based on completed work.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with actual site implementation..
Job Requirements
  • AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
  • Knowledge of ACMV equipment and systems.
  • Understanding of contract and tendering processes.
  • Communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 1-2 years, preferably local experience
