A2 main contractor in Kampong Ubi Central Region, Singapore, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join our team. You will manage project costs, budgets, and financial performance across the construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional quantity surveying experience in the construction industry for QS roles; 8+ years for SQS positions
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including standard forms such as FIDIC, Singapore Standard Conditions and other common contract types

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates for construction projects at tender and post-contract stages
• Monitor and control project costs, expenditure and budget variances, providing regular financial reports to project management and clients
• Conduct valuations of work completed and prepare interim and final accounts for clients
• Negotiate and manage variations, claims and contractual disputes with contractors, suppliers and clients in a professional manner
• Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations to support project planning and procurement activities
• For Senior positions: mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors and provide guidance on complex projects and commercial matters
