CA Facilities Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on construction projects in Singapore. You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, and manage budgets from tendering through final accounts.
You will work with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to obtain quotations, monitor expenditures, prepare claims, variations and VO/WO documentation, and maintain accurate cost records across projects.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, tender pricing and budgetary costing
Obtain, evaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and specialists
Prepare project budgets, cost plans, financial projections and cost estimates
Monitor expenditure, commitments, variations, claims and projected final costs against approved budgets
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims with complete supporting documents
Prepare and manage quotations, Variation Orders (VOs), Work Orders and additional works
Manage contractual and commercial matters, including claims, variations, payments and final accounts
Liaise with Employer Representatives, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders on QS and commercial matters
Maintain accurate QS, cost and contractual records
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline from a recognised institution
Minimum 3 years of continuous relevant QS experience, preferably 3–5 years in construction, M&E, interior fit-out and/or specialist engineering projects
Strong experience in tendering, cost estimation, procurement, cost control, progress claims, variations and contract administration
Experience in project budgeting, financial projections, final accounts, quantity take-off and site measurement
Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, BQ and contract documents
Good negotiation, analytical, numerical, documentation and communication skills
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with relevant stakeholders
Knowledge of the Singapore construction industry and prevailing market rates is an advantage
