WebuilQ PTE. LTD. is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for Singapore construction projects.

You will source subcontract quotations, prepare cost plans and bills of quantities, and drive cost control across the project lifecycle. The role requires 2–5 years of QS experience, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of QS experience in Singapore construction environment.
• Experience in A&A, renovation, or main contractor environments.
• Strong knowledge of costing, contracts, and project administration.
• Able to read drawings and understand project specifications; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract & Tendering: prepare tender estimates, cost planning and bill of quantities; source quotations and analyze bids; assist in tender submissions and pricing strategies; prepare clarifications and supporting documents; evaluate risks and cost implications.
• Post-Contract Administration: manage budgeting, cost tracking, cost control, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts; certify subcontractor claims and monitor cashflow; ensure documentation and contractual compliance; attend project meetings with teams.
• Procurement & Contract Management: assist in procurement and subcontractor awards; prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts; negotiate prices and terms; monitor material costs and maintain records.
• Project Coordination: work with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, and clients; support site teams on contractual issues; ensure costs are well managed and look for cost-saving opportunities.

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Responsibilities

Pre-Contract & Tendering

• Prepare tender cost estimations, cost planning and bill of quantities (BQ)
• Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Analyze quotations and prepare comparison reports
• Assist in tender submissions and pricing strategies
• Prepare tender clarifications and supporting documents
• Evaluate project risks and cost implications

Post-Contract Administration

• Handle project budgeting, cost tracking and cost control
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO) and final accounts
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims and payments
• Monitor project cashflow and project financial performance
• Ensure proper documentation and contractual compliance
• Attend project meetings and work closely with project teams

Procurement & Contract Management

• Assist in procurement and subcontractor award processes
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers/subcontractors
• Monitor material and subcontractor cost fluctuations
• Maintain proper records of all commercial and contractual documents

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients
• Support site teams on contractual and commercial matters
• Ensure project costs are well managed throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction Management or related discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant QS experience in Singapore construction industry
• Preferably experience in A&A, renovation or main contractor environment
• Good knowledge of construction costing, contracts and project administration
• Familiar with local construction practices and regulations
• Able to read drawings and understand project specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Team player with positive working attitude and willingness to learn
