A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering processes and conduct construction cost analysis. The successful candidate will report to the Project Manager and prepare documentation to support commercial activities. A degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, is essential. Report to the Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager (Commercial) / Commercial Manager, Commercial Department.
Conduct construction market resource research and prepare analysis reports on a bi-weekly basis.
Prepare, review and edit tender, bidding and contract documentation.
Assist in contract negotiation, clarification and variation works.
Manage tendering processes for project subcontracting.
Conduct subcontract pricing research, cost analysis and prepare related reports.
Liaise and communicate with subcontractors on commercial matters.
Prepare commercial and cost-related reports and statistics.
Handle progress claims, valuations and settlement with clients and subcontractors.
Support project commercial management activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in construction commercial management.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Engineering Budget Management from a recognised institution.
Relevant experience in Singapore construction cost budgeting and commercial practices will be an advantage.
Relevant training or certification in contract or commercial management will be an advantage.
Must be able to meet site access and security requirements to work in Jurong Island.
Able to commence work within short notice will be an advantage.
