Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager (Commercial) / Commercial Manager, Commercial Department.

• Conduct construction market resource research and prepare analysis reports on a bi-weekly basis.

• Prepare, review and edit tender, bidding and contract documentation.

• Assist in contract negotiation, clarification and variation works.

• Manage tendering processes for project subcontracting.

• Conduct subcontract pricing research, cost analysis and prepare related reports.

• Liaise and communicate with subcontractors on commercial matters.

• Prepare commercial and cost-related reports and statistics.

• Handle progress claims, valuations and settlement with clients and subcontractors.

• Support project commercial management activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in construction commercial management.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Engineering Budget Management from a recognised institution.

• Relevant experience in Singapore construction cost budgeting and commercial practices will be an advantage.

• Relevant training or certification in contract or commercial management will be an advantage.

• Must be able to meet site access and security requirements to work in Jurong Island.

• Able to commence work within short notice will be an advantage.
