You will estimate quantities, prepare budgets, and supervise subcontractor accounts, with a focus on cost control and value engineering while coordinating with project managers and design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Proven procurement, variation, and subcontractor accounts management.
• Comfortable working in short-duration, fast-track project environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness; good communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin ability is a plus.

Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit Out

Asa Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of ourinterior fit-out projects. Reporting to senior commercial management andworking closely with Project Managers and design teams, you will manage thecost, procurement, and commercial aspects of projects from tender through tofinal account.

Thisrole suits someone comfortable working in a fast-paced Design & Buildenvironment, with a strong grasp of variations, subcontractor management andcost control.

Key responsibilities

1. Cost Estimation andBudgeting

• Prepare accurate cost estimations for interior fit-out projects, based on detailed analysis of the project specifications, materials,labour and other relevant factors.
• Develop project budgets and ensure adherence to budgetaryconstraints throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with senior commercial managers and projectmanagers to establish cost-effective solutions and value engineering exercisesto optimize project costs &/or time

2. Procurement and Tendering

• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors toobtain competitive pricing for materials, equipment, and services required
• Evaluate tender submissions, prepare contract documents, andadminister contracts in compliance with company policy and regulatoryrequirements
• Monitor contract performance, variations, and claims, andsupport the project team in resolving discrepancies or disputes in a timelymanner

3. Quantity Take-Off andMeasurement

• Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and measurements fromdrawings, to accurately assess material quantities and project requirements
• Maintain records of quantities, measurements and relateddocumentation for reporting and auditing purposes

4. Cost Control and Reporting

• Monitor project expenditures, analyse cost variances, andsupport the project team to implement measures to control costs and mitigaterisks
• Support the project manager in the preparation of progressreports and cost forecasts. Keep stakeholders informed of project performanceand financial status.

5. Compliance andDocumentation

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, andstandards governing fit-out projects
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation, includingcontracts, subcontracts, invoices, change orders and other financial documents
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants toobtain necessary approvals, permits, and certifications as required.

Requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out orconstruction projects
• Practical experience managing procurement, variations, andsubcontractor accounts
• Comfortable working in short-duration, fast-track projektenvironments
• Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, andcommunication skills
• Proficient in Excel.
• Able to speak and write in English and Mandarin
