Job summary

TLE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial interior fit-out projects in Singapore. You will handle pre and post contract administration, prepare estimates, and manage procurement.

The role requires independent work, precision in cost evaluation, and staying updated on market trends. You will liaise with clients and trades to ensure timely approvals and accurate final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying required.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial interior fit-out.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Experience in pre and post contract administration.
• Prepare tender cost submissions, measurement, quantity take-offs, and cost evaluation.
• Request for quotation from trades and negotiate best quotes.
• Evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries.
• Manage claims, variation orders, budget and cost control, and final accounts.
• Follow up on payment certificates and payments with clients.
• Coordinate sample submissions when required.
• Maintain project documentation and procurement records.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Request for quotation from the respective trades and nego for best quote


• Evaluate price comparison and costing summary


• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control and final account closing


• Follow up effectively on payment certificate and payment with the clients


• Arrangements on sample submission, if required


• Maintenance of project documentation


• Request for purchase order and payment requisition


• Ad-hoc relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying (Quantity Surveyor, Project & Facilities Management or Building / Construction Management)


• Minimum 2-years of relevant working experience in commercial interior fit-out


• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines


• Have good knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
