KO HONG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an Experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in landed construction and interior design, with a focus on residential projects, and will handle contract administration, cost control, and budgeting. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented quantity surveyor with experience in landed construction and interior design, focusing on residential projects.
• Experience in contract administration, cost control, progress valuations, variation assessments, and final accounts.
• Liaising with site teams and attending meetings to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
• Experience in tendering, drafting subcontracts, VO & EOT claims, and knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Advising site teams on contractual issues for ongoing projects.
• Preparing quotations and proposals aligned with client needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review bills of quantities and material take-offs.
• Conduct site measurements and quantities for accurate costing.
• Manage progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project team members.
• Assist with tendering and subcontract drafting, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Experienced Quantity Surveyor

Detail-oriented and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in local landed construction and interior design industry, specializing in residential projects.

Key Competencies

Contract Administration

• Proficient in contract administration, contract management, progress valuations, variation assessments, cost control, financial reporting and settlement of final accounts.
• Liaising with and attending site briefings and meetings with relevant parties to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion

Project Management

• Skilled in managing tender, drafting subcontracts agreements, handling VO & EOT claims and familiar with construction and Authorities' regulations.
• Advising site teams on contractual issues for ongoing projects ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Communication

• Excellent communication skills, adept at liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project team members.
• Strong ability to understand client objectives and needs.
• Prepared and finalized quotations and proposals based on client's needs.

Cost Control

• Obtained competitive quotations from subcontractors for quote/cost comparison to managed cost and budgets.
• Experienced in progress claims and payments, cost control, variation orders and finalization of accounts and in preparing project budgeting estimations.

Technical Skills

• Experienced in site measurement, take-off quantities, bill of quantities preparation and materials calculations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Planswift and Microsoft Office.

Flexibility

• Adaptable and open to change, capable of adjusting to different situations and requirements.
• Committed and with a strong sense of responsibility, reliability and ownership of tasks.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or other relevant Construction Degree
