Job summary

P & A LINK PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an interior design cost estimator/quantity surveyor to support tender submissions and project costing.

You will take-off quantities, assess costs, and prepare bills of quantities, liaising with managers, clients, contractors and consultants.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in interiors design and basic AutoCAD skills, with a focus on contract documentation and cost control.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in using basic AutoCAD and reading drawings.
• Well versed in contracts documentations including follow-up and submission of tenders
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in interiors design/building construction field.

Responsibilities

• Quantity take-off and cost comparison for main trades; negotiate and analyze tender costs.
• Take-off quantities, compute costing, monitor and maintain the cost expenditure of the project site assigned.
• Prepare tender submissions including bills of quantities; discuss pricing with manager.
• Source quotations and administer contracts; obtain sub-contractor quotations.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and cost analyses based on drawings and materials.
• Attend site meetings; liaise with clients, contractors and consultants on payment certifications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure client requirements are delivered.

Qualifications & experience

• Knowledge and experience in using basic AutoCAD and reading drawings.
• Well versed in contracts documentations including follow-up & submission of tenders
• Minimum 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience in Interiors Design building construction field.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Quantity taking off and cost comparison for main work trades, negotiate and analysis costs for tenders
• Take off quantities, compute costing, monitoring and maintaining the cost expenditure of the Project site assigned
• Prepare tender submission including bills of quantities and discuss with Manager for pricing.
• Source for quotation and administration of contracts; obtaining sub-contractor's quotation for various trade
• Prepare monthly progress claim and cost analysis based on the architectural drawings and materials required.
• Attend Site meeting for on-going project, Liaise and establish rapport with all related parties including company clients, contractors, and consultants on certification of claims for payments.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the Client are delivered.
