Job summary

BUILTBOT PTE. LTD. is seeking a mid-level Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage costs across the full project lifecycle.

You will handle quantity surveying, budgeting, and procurement, coordinating with design and project teams to ensure value for money. With 2–3 years of relevant experience, you will source quotations, negotiate prices, prepare estimates and cost forecasts, and monitor costs and variations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of QS experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantity surveying and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and manage quotations, variation orders, and budgets.
• Monitor project costs and track variations against contracts.
• Assist in tender preparation, submission, and participation.
• Source and follow up on supplier quotations.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Monitor PO and update procurement status.
• Maintain records relating to quotations, procurement, costs, and variations.
• Collaborate with project and design teams on cost control.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handle all quantity surveying and cost management duties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices and conduct price comparisons to ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare project estimates, quotations, budgets, and cost projections.
• Prepare and manage quotations, variation orders, cost estimates, cost control, and project budgets.
• Monitor project costs and track variations against approved contracts and budgets.
• Assist in tender preparation, submission, and participation.
• Source and follow up on quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders and update procurement and delivery status in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper records and documentation relating to quotations, procurement, project costs, and variations.
• Work closely with project and design teams to ensure effective cost management and procurement.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum2–3 years of relevant experiencein Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Renovation, Construction, or a related industry.
• Candidates with strongproject coordination skillswill have an added advantage.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.
