Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a QS Engineer to handle various aspects of quantity surveying, attend site surveys, and coordinate with clients. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil), with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred, along with skills in Excel and PowerPoint. This position requires both teamwork and independence as well as flexibility to travel between site and office.

Qualifications

• Civil Works QS experience is a must.

Job description

Job description for QS Engineer:

• Carry out all aspects of works related to quantity surveying
• Attend site survey, tender briefing, clarification and coordination with clients
• Understanding of contractual terms and conditions, including Bill of quantities
• Collect and sort out project process and completion data
• Collect and sort out weekly and monthly project reports
• Arrange meeting minutes
• Coordination with headquarter
• Help to check the invoices content x Delivery order and obtain the verified site documents (e.g. signed DO, timesheet)
• Able to facilitate / act as a bridging between office and site personnel
• Assisting in updating NC system
• Assist procurement and costing team for necessary documents (PR, PO, Invoice, DO)
• Assist to record machinery/equipment list in and out, supplier data base, PO list, check list.
• Assist in fixed asset and inventory
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the management.
• Able to work in team and independently
• Able to travel between site & office
• Knowledge of Construction industries

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent with at least 1-2 years' relevant working experience.
• Candidate must possess Civil Works QS experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in QS preferable in construction industry.
• Meticulous, Independent with good communication skills.
• Preferrable to able to speak, read & write in English & Mandarin
• Preferrable with Excel & PowerPoint Skill
