Job summary

A precision parts manufacturing company in Singapore seeks a quality inspector responsible for ensuring that incoming and outgoing parts meet quality standards. Candidates should possess at least GCE ‘O’ Levels, a willingness to learn, and up to one year of industrial experience. Knowledge of inspection tools and methods is preferred. This role focuses on building a culture of quality and accountability within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial experience.

• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) and related processes is an advantage.

• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing precision parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Able to read 2D drawings
• Identify and address defects at an early stage
• Knowledge of FAI (First Article Inspection). Others like PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and 8D problem‑solving methodologies advantage
• Ensure all goods consistently meet required quality standards
• Basic knowledge in the use of measurement tools such as micrometres, vernier callipers, bore gauges, etc
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection data and test results
• Contribute to the development and improvement of inspection procedures and quality control processes
• Help build a team culture that values quality and accountability part of the everyday mindset, both in the team and in the company
• Ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management

Job Requirement

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of industrial experiences
• Good in Microsoft Excel e.g. basic formula
• Good communication skills and passion in learning
• Knowledge of SPC tools
• Know how to use computer and email for communications
