Job summary

LinkedCorp HR Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to manage materials planning, purchasing, and supplier coordination to support sales and production.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, inventory management, and ERP systems. You will ensure timely orders, monitor stock levels, and work with accounts on supplier payments, contributing to cost efficiency and timely production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holders with 3 years relevant experience.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management background preferred.
• Business Admin relevant education or experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials planning and purchasing to fulfill sales needs.
• Monitor/review inventory stocking policy to balance supply assurance with minimal inventory holding.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers based on stocking policy.
• Ensure accuracy of all orders and follow-up with suppliers via telephone/email.
• Liaise, arrange and monitor shipments with forwarder.
• Monitor delivery with local and overseas suppliers.
• Coordinate shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve undelivered goods issues.
• Prepare documents such as import product and shipment checklists for warehouse checking.
• Communicate with suppliers to rectify damages, shortages, or nonconformances.
• Arrange delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to meet production schedules.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform materials planning and purchasing to fulfill sales needs


• Monitor/review inventory stocking policy to ensure good balance between assurance of supply with minimal inventory holding.


• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts needed based on company's agreed inventory stocking policy


• Ensures accuracy of all orders and follow-up (telephone/email communication) with suppliers.


• Liaise, arrange and monitor shipments with forwarder.


• Monitor delivery with local and oversea suppliers


• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.


• Prepare documents such as Import product checklist, import shipment checklist and etc for warehouse checking purpose.


• Confer or correspond with supplier to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.


• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.


• Requisition and maintain inventories of silencer and common stock parts to meet customer demands.


• Generate report from SAP system for analysis when required


• Item master creation in SAP system.


• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.


• Plan for shipment consolidation to cut down shipping cost


• Coordinate with Account department to ensure timely payment.
