Responsibilities

• Carry out procurement procedures including purchase requisitions and orders.
• Work on pricing and build rapport with suppliers.
• Manage delivery of freshwater and food to ships.
• Track delivery status and expedite orders.
• Set up inventory control for supplied goods.
• Communicate with vessels on requisition issues.
• Collaborate with shipping division on tasks.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the purchasing manager.

About the job Purchasing Executive (Ship Owner)

• To carry out the entire set of procurement procedures, including purchase requisitions, quotes, purchase orders, and product delivery in compliance with purchasing guidelines.
• Work out a good price and establish a cooperative rapport with the suppliers.
• Manage the provision of freshwater and food to ships.
• Track the status of deliveries and expedite orders.
• Set up stock taking and inventory control for all delivered and supplied goods.
• Keep in touch with the vessels and superintendents regarding requisition-related issues.
• Closely collaborate with the company's shipping division and PIC launch.
• Any additional ad hoc tasks that the purchasing manager assigns.
