About the job Procurement Executive (Ship Supply)

• Oversee the planning, issuance, and follow-up on purchaser orders, delivery, and shipment schedules.
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and purchase needs (buy forecast/plan)
• Assess suppliers' performance in accordance with the organization's standards
• Establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with suppliers
• Helping with audits pertaining to procurement
• Choosing suppliers based on their dependability, product quality, and cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience working as a buyer; a minimum of an O level
• 3 or more years in the ship supply industry or a similar field in the supply chain area
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills with suppliers and internal customer
• Excel proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with the MTS system is a plus.
