Immediate handling of incoming vessel purchase orders
Send orders to appropriate suppliers for quotes.
Price negotiations and order follow-up with suppliers
Evaluate incoming quotations and confirm supplier selection following Superintendent/Technical Manager or higher authority permission.
To work closely with the warehouse and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Send instructions to the supplier.
Keep the vessels and Vessel Managers informed of any delivery.
Contact with the port agents of the vessel
Clearance through customs
Based on the practical arrangements made by the Vessel Manager, make the necessary official bookings for service and repairs.
Maintain and update the supplier's database across many platforms.
