Job summary

BIKERS WORLD.SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage operational procurement for ship-related requirements. You will negotiate with suppliers, arrange logistics, and monitor vessel schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries aboard.

The role requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders, tracking delivery timelines, and actively participating in departmental meetings to optimize procurement activities for on-board operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement for marine/shipping preferred.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the operational procurement process for ship's requirements.
• Negotiate / communicate with suppliers specifying quality, quantity, and delivery schedules
• Schedule, arrange, and follow-up on logistics to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of items on board
• Monitor schedules of the assigned group of vessels to optimize deliveries on board
• Proactively participate in department meetings and other activities.
