PUB Public Utilities Board in Singapore seeks an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant to maintain vital water treatment equipment for NEWater production and safe discharge.

You will work with engineers and contractors on predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, assist in planning and budgeting, monitor spares and inventory, and support SCADA data integration and analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• Willing to respond to urgent situations outside normal hours.
• Physically able to perform site works in used water environments.
• Familiar with field instrumentation and its applications in used water treatment processes.

Responsabilités

• Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.
• Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plan and budget, procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expenditures
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
• Utilise enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory management
• Support integration of instrumentation data with SCADA, data historians, and analytics platforms
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability
• Manage and implement maintenance contracts to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget

[What the role is] As an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA)) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea. Working alongside a team of engineers and contractors, you will implement various maintenance strategies to keep critical water treatment equipment running safely and efficiently. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance works safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.
• Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plan and budget, procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expenditures
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
