Job summary

PUB Public Utilities Board in Singapore is seeking an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant to help treat used water into NEWater and ensure safe discharge. You will perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on M&E and auxiliary equipment, work with contractors, and support maintenance plans and budgets.

The role requires independent work, strong teamwork, willingness to respond to urgent situations, and familiarity with asset

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to respond to urgent situations outside normal hours.
• Experience or familiarity with predictive maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on M&E and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist in devising maintenance plans and budgets; procure spares.
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and execute SOPs.
• Utilise Asset Management System for procurement, contracts, assets and inventory.
• Participate in continuous improvement to safety, efficiency and reliability.
• Manage maintenance contracts to ensure contractor work aligns with objectives and budget.

[What the role is]As an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea. Working alongside a team of engineers and contractors, you will implement various maintenance strategies to keep critical water treatment equipment running safely and efficiently. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us. Your main responsibilities are:[What you will be working on]Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance works safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plan and budget, procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expendituresRespond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.Utilise enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory managementParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, efficiency, and equipment reliabilityManage and implement maintenance contracts to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget[What we are looking for]Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalentAble to work independently and a good team playerAble to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hoursComfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site worksFamiliarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as partial discharge and its basic application for equipment maintenance will be an advantageWork LocationChangi Water Reclamation Plant
