Job summary

ERIC ONG & ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a facilities manager to oversee day-to-day operation of a building/condominium, supervise staff, coordinate maintenance and contracts, and liaise with management teams and contractors.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience, Higher NITEC or Diploma in FM, BSMA knowledge, strong written and spoken communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Higher NITEC in Facilities Management and/or Diploma in Integrated Facility Management, Real Estate Business, Hotel & Leisure Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Building (Strata Management) Act (BSMA) is a plus.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
• Mature and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks and inspections with management teams and contractors to maintain common property.
• Prepare for council and AGM meetings including agenda, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Handle administrative tasks including changes of authorized signatories, renewals of contracts, and insurance.
• Receive and address residents/owners complaints about the common property.
• Assist project work: request tenders, invite contractors, gather quotations with clear specs.
• Supervise maintenance in common areas and schedule building certificates/licence renewals.
• Lead and manage the management team and oversee site maintenance functions.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of building/condominium and coordinate staff.
