Qualifications

Job Summary:

The ACMV Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation works for building projects. This includes managing site activities, ensuring work quality, compliance with specifications, and timely completion according to project schedule and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise ACMV installation and commissioning works.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements and authorities’ regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work schedules.
  • Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and resolve technical or site issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements (e.g. BCA, NEA, SCDF).
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation such as material submissions, inspection reports, test reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning (T&C) of ACMV systems (chillers, AHU, FCU, ducting, ventilation fans, etc.).
  • Support procurement and material control for mechanical systems.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and ensure timely completion within budget and schedule.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Additional Advantages:
  • Experience with green building (BCA Green Mark) or energy efficiency systems.
  • Class 3 driving license.
  • Familiar with BIM/Revit MEP software.
