Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project planning and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing RFQs, liaising with vendors, and budget monitoring. Knowledge of Risk Assessment and FMEA, alongside AutoCAD skills, is preferred. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• General understanding of electrical systems.
• Possession of a LEW license is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and project planning.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors to resolve project issues.
• Ensure project work meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain technical drawings and project documentation.
• Supervise EHS activities.

• Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon – Fri, 8.30AM – 5.30PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and coordinate project planning activities.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to address and resolve project-related issues, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
• Verify that all project work adheres to quality and safety standards, conducting inspections and audits as necessary.
• Monitor and manage the project section's budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical drawings, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Assist in supervising and carry out company’s EHS related activities.
