Position: Project Engineer – System Applications
Location : Singapore
Travel: Frequently Travel to Malaysia & Indonesia

We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Project Engineer with demonstrable expertise in Audio Visual (AV) systems design and implementation, including proficiency in control systems programming and technical schematics development. This hybrid role offers regional exposure—requiring coordination with internal stakeholders across Southeast Asia—and mandates on-site presence only when operationally critical.
The incumbent will be instrumental in bridging client requirements with bespoke AV/UC solutioning, operating at the nexus of pre-sales consultation, technical design architecture, and post-sales engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic client consultations to elicit and crystallize technical requirements for complex AV/UC infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to architect and specify state-of-the-art AV integration solutions, leveraging a robust understanding of enterprise collaboration platforms, video-over-IP technologies, and unified communications ecosystems.
- Serve as the principal technical authority in tender exercises—crafting detailed technical proposals, developing system architecture, and defending solution design during client-facing tender interviews.
- Lead technical demonstrations and develop Proof-of-Concept environments to showcase functional capabilities and ROI of proposed AV/UC deployments.
- Produce comprehensive system schematics and signal flow diagrams for AV, control, and UC platforms, adhering to industry and project-specific standards.
- Provide ongoing design validation and troubleshooting expertise to the project implementation and engineering delivery teams.
- Design and maintain control system programming using industry platforms such as Crestron, Q-Sys, Extron, and Kramer, integrating custom logic, UI/UX workflows, and backend processing.
- Maintain active engagement in product training, continuous learning, and technology trend monitoring to ensure cutting-edge technical acumen.
- Execute additional technical responsibilities and special projects as directed by the Systems Application Manage
- Qualifications & Technical Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Multimedia Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent AV-related disciplines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiency in English.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin & Bahasa or additional regional languages will be advantageous for cross-border collaboration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Lua, C#, HTML5, or equivalent scripting environments relevant to AV system development.
- A deep understanding of the evolving digital workspace and enterprise AV trends including IP-based AV distribution, real-time collaboration platforms, and video streaming frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
