About the role

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team at CHL CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects in the Central Region. This full-time position will involve overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and coordination to on-site supervision and quality assurance.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets and specifications

Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and proposing solutions to overcome challenges

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

Conducting site inspections, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and providing on-site supervision

Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address queries and resolve issues

Providing technical support and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role in the construction industry

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering principles

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures

Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, BIM, and project management software
