Job Summary

Monitor and manage construction programs to ensure timely project completion while leading site teams and coordinating resources. Resolve technical issues and maintain quality standards to drive successful structural and building works.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the monitoring and review of master construction programs and develop catch-up programs to maintain project timelines
  • Supervise Engineers and foremen to ensure adherence to quality procedures and workmanship standards
  • Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of subcontractors’ work to meet project specifications
  • Develop detailed site programs for teams to follow, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with the Technical team to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical challenges
  • Prepare comprehensive method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to manage site manpower, materials, and equipment demands aligned with project schedules
  • Liaise with Consultants on submissions related to structural works and technical requirements
  • Plan site operations including scheduling, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs while controlling usage and minimizing waste
  • Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety practices throughout construction activities
  • Apply technical expertise in Foundation, Structural, and Building works to support project execution
  • Utilize Microsoft Project to manage and track project schedules effectively
  • Employ basic computer skills to edit Microsoft Office documents, AutoCAD files, PDFs, and other relevant formats
  • Interpret construction drawings accurately and communicate effectively in English
