Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Project Support Engineer to assist project managers with planning, schedule management, and site supervision. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering and has 1-3 years of experience in related fields. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is necessary for communication with counterparts based in China. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 – 3 years of working experience in a related field.
• Experience in precision engineering, equipment engineering, robotic engineering, or automation.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in project planning and management of overall project schedule.
• Prepare regular progress reports and project handover reports.
• Conduct site management and attend site meetings with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in project planning & management of overall project schedule, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation to ensure on time delivery and compliance with customer requirements
• Supporting both in house research projects as well as active projects for customers
• Prepare regular progress report, project handover reports to update management, customers and other stakeholders
• Site Management as well as attending or conducting site meetings with customers

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics preferred.
• Minimum 1 – 3 years of working experience in the related field is required
• Experience in precision engineering, equipment engineering, robotic engineering, manufacturing engineering, or automation
• Able to read various mechanical drawing and electrical schematic diagram
• Strong analytical skill, Good interpersonal skills and pro‑active in problem‑solving
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English & Mandarin to liaise with counterparts based in China(HQ).
