Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking an L2 Production Support Analyst to ensure stable, compliant operation of critical banking applications. You will handle incidents, monitor systems, and collaborate across IT teams to implement robust fixes and releases.

The role covers deployment automation, infrastructure scripting with Terraform/Ansible, and containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes. Expect on-call shifts and a focus on SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in L2 application production support, incident troubleshooting and production operations.
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Jenkins and Git experience.
• Configuration management and infrastructure automation using Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Understanding of deployment, release management, monitoring and troubleshooting practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M, AutoSys or IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Sybase.
• Knowledge of middleware or messaging platforms, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, Tomcat or IBM MQ.
• Understanding of IT service management processes (incident, problem and change).

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for banking applications, meeting SLAs.
• Monitor performance, availability, incidents, root cause and corrective actions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Develop and troubleshoot infrastructure automation scripts and configuration workflows.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database and security teams to resolve production issues.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, release management and maintenance activities.
• Maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in rotational shifts and on-call duties as required for production operations.
