Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking an experienced L2 production support specialist to ensure SLA-compliant operation of core banking applications. You will monitor performance, manage incidents and support deployment activities across on-prem and cloud components.

The role covers CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible, containerized workloads with Docker/Kubernetes, and collaboration with IT teams to maintain reliable production services.

Qualifications

• Experience in L2 application production support, incident troubleshooting and production operations.
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Configuration management and infrastructure automation using Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Understanding of deployment, release management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with enterprise job scheduling tools like Control-M, AutoSys or IBM TWS.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Sybase.
• Knowledge of middleware or messaging platforms such as IBM WebSphere/WAS, JBoss, Tomcat or IBM MQ.
• Understanding IT service management processes including incident, problem and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for banking apps, meeting SLAs and uptime targets.
• Monitor performance, availability and stability; investigate incidents and root causes.
• Support integration, testing, deployment and release activities with payment systems.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to improve release efficiency.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts with Terraform and Ansible.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes environments including deployment and scaling.
• Troubleshoot across Linux/Windows, including Java platforms.
• Monitor batch jobs and workflows using Control-M or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DB, security and business teams.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, release management and maintenance.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and incident records.
• Participate in rotations, on-call and weekend support.
