Job description
Key Information:
  • US MNC, located in Tuas (walking distance from MRT)
  • 5 day (8am to 5pm)

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing in ERP.
  • Improve production efficiency by reducing lead time, refining routing, and integrating sub-assemblies.
  • Create and maintain clear work instructions, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings.
  • Review and validate engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing data before release.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—Engineering, Production, Planning, QA, and Purchasing—on prototype builds and process improvements.
  • Submit and track engineering change notices (ECNs) to ensure document and BOM accuracy.
  • Set and maintain standard times, assist planners with scheduling, and validate earned hours.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, cost reduction, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and promote manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Higher NITEC in an Engineering-related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing assembly industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP systems (Infor ERP preferred).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of electromechanical assembly processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in technical documentation.
