Product Marketing & Communication Manager (6-Month Contract)
We are seeking a highly hands-on Product Marketing & Communication Manager to support our client in the Subsea Cables space in their marketing initiatives on a 6-month contract basis. This role is designed for a self-sufficient marketing professional who can independently conceptualise, design, and execute marketing communications across digital channels, events, and product marketing collaterals, with minimal reliance on external agencies or designers.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, combining strong product storytelling with practical design capability to deliver high-impact marketing materials within tight timelines.
Marketing Communications & Brand Execution
- Own end-to-end development of marketing communications, from concept through final production, ensuring alignment with client’s brand and product positioning.
- Translate complex product features and technical value propositions into clear, visually compelling messages for target customer segments.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Plan, design, and execute social media content across relevant platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, YouTube, regional channels).
- Develop campaign visuals, copy, and digital assets independently, including static posts, short-form videos, and promotional graphics.
- Monitor engagement and performance metrics to refine content and messaging effectiveness.
Events & Trade Shows
- Lead end-to-end marketing preparation for industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Personally design and develop event-related materials, including booth graphics, posters, banners, brochures, and presentation decks.
- Support pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up content to maximize marketing and lead-generation impact.
Marketing Collaterals & Content Development
- Independently design and develop a full suite of marketing collaterals, including product brochures, datasheets, sales presentations, videos, and case studies.
- Update and localise existing materials to support product launches, campaigns, and regional market needs.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and brand standards within defined timelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Delivery
- Work closely with product management and sales teams to understand product features, customer needs, and commercial priorities.
- Manage multiple deliverables concurrently, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and ownership for marketing outputs.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in product marketing, marketing communications, or B2B marketing, preferably within maritime, technology, industrial, or engineering-led environments.
- Proven hands-on capability in design and content development, with the ability to produce production-ready materials independently.
- Strong proficiency in design and content tools.
- Excellent written communication and visual storytelling skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a contract-based role.
- Ability to quickly understand technical products and translate them into customer-centric messaging.
