Qualificações

• Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, order processing, or purchase order administration.
• Familiarity with SAP or other procurement management systems will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to follow through on outstanding matters.
• Effective communication and coordination skills when working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and competing priorities in a structured work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, following up with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Source and liaise with vendors to obtain competitive quotations, confirm product availability, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Evaluate vendor quotations against historical purchasing data to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing records and price lists.
• Create new item records and process purchasing information in SAP.
• Support new vendor registration and onboarding, including vendor account creation in SAP.
• Assist with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) assessments for new vendors, where required.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favourable purchasing terms.
• Convert approved purchase requisitions into Purchase Orders (POs) and process change orders within the required timelines.
• Ensure the appropriate approvals are obtained and POs are issued promptly to vendors and requesting stakeholders.
• Monitor order fulfilment, shipment progress, and delivery schedules, following up with vendors and expediting urgent orders when necessary.
• Address internal enquiries regarding order status, amendments, and cancellations.
• Assist with quarterly stock-taking exercises and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Provide operational support to team members during planned and unplanned absences.
• Undertake other procurement-related and administrative duties as required.
