Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional in Singapore to plan and buy materials, issue purchase orders, and manage supplier relationships. The role requires SAP familiarity and strong Excel skills to maintain records and generate reports.

This on-site position offers a 5-day work week, with duties including monitoring deliveries, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. A relevant diploma or degree is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related discipline.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; familiarity with SAP an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase materials and parts to meet sales requirements while maintaining stock levels.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, maintain records and price lists, and follow up with suppliers.
• Monitor local and overseas deliveries, resolve delays, and coordinate shipment arrangements with freight forwarders.
• Consolidate shipments to reduce shipping costs and prepare import documents for warehouse receiving.
• Work with suppliers to resolve damaged goods, shortages and items not meeting specs.
• Coordinate delivery, assembly or distribution to support production schedules and customer requirements.
• Create and maintain item master records in SAP and generate reports for purchasing and inventory analysis.
• Coordinate with Accounts to ensure timely supplier payments.
